Oct. 25th, 2007 11:16 pmComment and I'll give you a letter. When you get the letter, list your 10 favorite songs that start with that letter.
I've got the letter 'M': This may be tough, but I'll try!
1: M.A.D. - Wishdokta...a great piece of harcore techno (or something), great for the energy levels.
2: Mandatory Suicide - Slayer...a tremendous crescendo of a song which ultimately leaves a need for something even more brutal to follow.
3: Mirror Man - Human League...like a good few of their songs, in a key that is quirky and interesting (to my ears!). Probably a minor key.
4: (Memory Imprints) Never End - Fear Factory..."epic" doesn't begin to describe this song.
5: Map of the Problematique - Muse...almost an afterthought of a single release, but gorgeous to hear live.
6: Master of Puppets - Metallica...more epic metal, not their best, but still pretty bloody good.
7: Microwaved Uterogestation - Carcass...need I say anything?
8: Moby Dick - Led Zeppelin...the live version I have contains a ten minute drum solo.
9: Midlife Crisis - Faith No More...an excellent singalong track.
10: Man On The Edge - Iron Maiden...one of their more overlooked songs, actually bloody good.
I'm sure there are M songs that I like better than some of these, but it's bloody tough to pull up ten songs without a good bit of research!
