Exactly. An exemplary tackle in my book.

Any tackle where someone's career isn't permanently ended / they are killed isn't a real tackle in my eyes. I believe the correct technique is

  • Wait until ref isn't looking and ball is at other end of pitch
  • Go in with both feet at neck height
  • Look with injured expression at ref and get away with yellow card

    Essentially, premiership football should adhere to the same foul rules as World Wrestling Entertainment.

    There are ample plastic seats around with which to hit players with. I believe Luton pioneered this approach in the eighties.
