The festival at the weekend (Big Tent) was billed as an eco-festival. It was a pretty piss-poor attempt at greenness to be fair.

There were a few recycling bins around, but there were many more non-recycling bins, mainly overflowing by Saturday evening. I saw no wind turbines providing power. There were a hell of a lot of cars there. We were purportedly going to receive recycling bags on arrival, but this never happened - stewarding and general organisation was pretty lax really, or relaxed at best. It wasn't entirely veggie. Shops were selling bottled water.

I know it's tough to do such a thing, but there were many ways in which it could have been done better!

In other news, I've been racking my brains at how the former model and porn actress who was again convicted of bigamy today has managed to persuade so many men to marry her. Nope, can't think of any reasons at all.

Because men only have enough blood in their body to think with one brain at a time ;-p

Why would it have to be entirely veggie? *confused*

Well, that would be a bit OTT, but it's based on the problem that eating meating uses many times more land than would be needed if people ate the crops instead of feeding the crops to the livestock, hence overuse of resources and major additions to greehouse gases.
