Well it's been a fun twenty-four hours! A good start to the holidays-last night was nice, showed myself up with my backward forwardness (maybe I should learn to keep a "secret"?!), got half drowned swimming with lee_lou, squeeky_jane and my flatmate Lorraine (not to mention scratched to death), and won sixty quid on the annual horse slaughter. Think this means I need to go and treat myself to a bottle of either Baileys or amaretto, and then sit in for some serious vegetating, with perhaps a game of cards or three.

Well London (UK) folk in general seem to not have enough time for being nice to people, but the further away you get from the city, the nicer they get!

To a point, but we're a varied bunch too-get past the staid exterior, and there's a lot of extroverts about :O)

That's a shame! Everyone needs an image to work from I suppose. Or that's the natural way to go about it anyway. it's quite difficult to appraoch people with a blank canvas as it were when you already have an expectation...

yes I suppose so. usually I would be proud lol, but the whole snotty reserved..doesnt talk about their emotions thing really gets to me.

That's much more an older generation/middle class thing really...we're not all that bad!
