Well Beltane was good - very wet and windy until the actual ceremony on the evening which went pretty well, and was only windy :O) Took about three hours, as opposed to the usual two on Calton Hill, mainly due to the size of the site. The group I was in all ended up in the right places at the right times which was impressive after on crappy walk-through!

Much dancing ensued, and I flagged at about four a.m. and crawled back to the tent, but I listened to the drummers until they stopped at about eight...slept until about two, then packed up and generally staggered about with everyone else also looking streaky and very tired...bus back into town, couple of very welcome pints in the Pear Tree, then home for a bit of grub and snooker, and then off to the purelyskindeep's party until I couldn't cope with the crappy rap and techno that was being played by Mike any longer! Splet until midday, and here I am preparing to sit on my arse watching the World Snooker final for the rest of the day. Ah, sometimes life is bliss!

Shame about the ending though - just too easy!

Mmm, I was really hoping for a black-ball final. *shrugs* Ah well, it was a bit of an anti-climax, but it was good getting there.
