It's taken ten years to complete the experiment, but I've decided that I prefer driving in a blizzard to cycling, for the following reasons:

1) A car has a windscreen.
2) On a bike I can't pretend to be Richard Burns.
3) When I arrive having driven, it doesn't feel like I've taken possession of somebody else's arse and knees.

...and warm because there's no snow here whatsoever, but that's a rubbish reason because I feel obliged to point out my hands would be pretty cold by the time I got to your flat. And I can't afford the trainfare.

So bizarre, the difference only a hundred miles can make! Blue sky, only a couple of clouds... Cold, of course, but bright and shiny. :) Not a hailstone in sight.
