May. 7th, 2005 02:29 pmOoh excellent - Hull v Bradford on telly! That's the next two hours sorted.
By the way, myself and
kynon are running the Great Caledonian Run tomorrow, and he's doing it in aid of Leukaemia research. See his post: http://www.livejournal.com/users/kynon/215083.html
That reminds me that I'll probably have a quiet night tonight to get set for tomorrow. I feel strangely tired, given that I slept pretty well last night! Too much lie-in maybe...

Date: 2005-05-08 07:51 pm (UTC)I think the course was pretty tough on reflection - it seemed a bit excessive to include The Mound instead of using Waverley Bridge to get onto Market Street. The hardest bit was the plod out of Holyrood Park, and since I didn't quite know where the finish line was, I started my sprint finish too early, which meant that I died badly about 50m short! Had to stagger home instead of doing the high-kneed sprint across the line I was hoping for...
In the end I got 48 minutes, Kynon was a couple of minutes behind me.
