It's taken ten years to complete the experiment, but I've decided that I prefer driving in a blizzard to cycling, for the following reasons:

1) A car has a windscreen.
2) On a bike I can't pretend to be Richard Burns.
3) When I arrive having driven, it doesn't feel like I've taken possession of somebody else's arse and knees.

But yes, very good point. *nods* This is his experiment, after all. And I chose 'girlfriend' over 'girl', to save him from getting into trouble. *grin* I'm not sure that "But it's a proper scientific experiment - honest!!" would work well as a good excuse...
